gaming on my mac

i picked up crossover for about $34 during one of the sales.

i've got final fantasy vii rebirth running on an m5 pro 18-core with 48gb. the bottles thing was annoying at first — one for steam, another for games — and eventually i stopped trying to understand it.

i used to have a gaming rig. now it seems like i don't need another one.

with the backlog i already have, if something doesn't work on mac, i'll find something else to play. i was on the fence about the steam machine, but the 512gb version here is over PHP100k.

the m3 ultra seems better for gaming, but ff7 rebirth is still super smooth on the m5 pro. so i've found another use for the laptop.
